Pilates workouts, tough and intense of course it is. Often though to be a workout in which you lay around on your back and stretch your body.
Well, not quite. It’s a unique form of movement used to increase full body function and strengthen the body from the inside out.
May sound a bit hooky and out there but the results certainly speak for themselves. My life has consisted of Pilates practice for over a decade. Most people think Pilates is useless and pass up the opportunity to giving it a try and feeling the benefits of feeling and looking young,
I’m sticking to this by saying Pilates is the fountain of youth. Why would I make that bold claim, well mainly because I surely am a testament to this. I just turned 39 years old and no believes my when I tell them my age. I credit Pilates as my secret to staying in shape and looking young.
Staying young is more than just appearance, although it’s a great benefit, my main goal is to keep up with my endurance and stamina to play with Jonah, he’s getting older and I’m not about to slow down.
You see, by using proper form and core function I’ve been able to slim my physique, increase energy, endurance, stamina and keep it that way. But the trick to Pilates is to stick with it. You will be able to continue these intense moves well into the more mature years.
Lets face it, who wants to be old and feel stiff and fragile.
