Anyone Can Have A Sprinter’s Body

Let’s face facts. Many of us can’t remember the last time we sprinted…anywhere. You would be hard pressed to find manypeople willing to take on sprinting as part of a workout routine for the fear of injury. But what if I told you there is a very safe way to get the benefits of sprinting.
What are those benefits exactly? Well look at any competitive sprinter. They have incredible bodies. They all have great abs, glutes, and legs. For most people, the track athlete has an ideal physique.
But wait…back to sprinting…you can’t do that, right???
Well if you have ever seen a sprinter train much of their workout consists of doing sprint drills over the course of 10 to 20 metres. These drills can be done in a marching pace, a skipping pace, or even a running pace.
Now absolutely anyone can do the drills at a marching pace. Once you get comfortable with marching over the course of two to three weeks you can try doing some of the drills at a skipping pace. Then skipping will evolve eventually into running (which isn’t really running as you can see from the video)
What track athletes do is anywhere from 6 or more drills before actually getting into their sprints. What the drills are meant to do is re-program your Central Nervous System to sprint in perfect form. Each drill focuses on different facets of sprinting technique.
This is how you slowly can prepare your body to return to sprinting. You are first re-programming it to run properly and this will help you avoid injury.
The drills, even at a marching pace, are allowing you to exercise a full range of motion, which again, is preparing your body to sprint.
Even if you never want to actually sprint, the sprinting drills themselves will give you more mobility, strength, and power.
The dynamic movements of these drills make them a very powerful part of any overall exercise plan. These drills are a great way to warm up for any workout.
Sprinting will help you optimize your hormone levels, burn fat, melt cellulite, and sculpt all the muscles in your legs and core to give you that dream body you want.
Anyone can look like a sprinter…you just need to know what to do.
