Can you believe it’s already the end of another year?
Time goes by far to quickly and lately it seems to go by faster than ever.
As we roll into a new year it can be more stressful thinking of what New Years Resolutions you have listed. So I want to give you 3 tips as you start the new year.
FIRST….
For 2014 take action everyday by putting one foot in front of the other. Try not to overwhelm yourself with everything you have to or want to do. Just do Today!
And, be Present! We are so very distracted now a days that we forget to enjoy the moment that IS happening.
Wherever you are right now at this moment, be aware of the weather, who you just talked to, what did they say? Do you remember what color shirt the last person was wearing that you talked to you in person?
It may sound silly but we spend too much time buried with our head in our phone we don’t take the time to interact with other human beings.
SECOND….
On a serious note, when I hear someone say “I’m too busy”, Really, are You?
You wouldn’t be that busy if you were suddenly invited to your favorite concert or place to eat, Right?! How quickly our schedule opens up when something enticing is staring right at us.
Be aware of what you are doing and saying you are too busy for. When we take a minute and
stop using “Im too busy” and prioritize your day you’ll be surprised how much more you will accomplish and in a more efficient manner.
Whatever it is you have planned for the upcoming year always remember to take a small step everyday and soon you’ll notice you’ve walked a mile =)
THIRD….
When was the last time you read a book? And No, I don’t mean those drama magazines at the checkout stand.
Just 30 minutes a day reading, that’s not too much to ask for, right?
